A 5-Year-Old Kid Discovers Security Flaw In Xbox One, Microsoft Rewards Him With Free Games And More

A 5-year-old finding a critical security bug in Xbox One. Yes, it’s so hard to believe. 5-year-old Kristoffer Von Hassel from the San Diego did it recently by logging into his dad’s Xbox Live account on Xbox One.

His father was curious to know how he initially got access to games which were on his password-protected Xbox One profile. Later he found that hid kid was spamming the password verification screen with space bar and it allowed him to enter into his dad’s account. His father reported this bug to Microsoft and Microsoft rewarded Kristoffer with a year of Xbox Live, four games and $50.

Wow! So he crashed the security module by basically buffer overflowing the authentication page on xbox one. How shitty is that?

Do I get a reward here if I point out that you said hid instead of his on line 3 second paragraph
