to me 7inch is a little too small to be called a surface…..because that would be a pretty small surface

I have no idea why people bother dreaming to such extent, do they have a thing for let-downs? :-)

      I know, right?

I want quad core, 2gb ram, 128gb storage, 4.5″ screen with HD resolution, a pureview camera and a 48 hour battery life.

Make it happen or your company gets flamed!

You editor don’t know what’s Tablet, what’s Stationary? Read the doc carefully.

Where’s the concept? All I see is a wish list.

Other sites are referring to this document as a ‘leak’, while these guys are calling it ‘concept specifications’.

I think this is an error on behalf of MS-News, because both of the sources they have given are calling it a ‘leak’ and ‘possibly genuine’. :)

Ah somebody read neowin and instead of checking the source or doc they just copied the text.

    Really classy WMPU

This is what will be revealed from MS today! It was long rumored that they plan to release a simpler Xbox console for apps and tv consumption. Combine this with a low-prized 7-inch tablet and: boom, you have the Xbox Surface. Makes a lot of sense as a response to the Kindle Fire and WiiU.

The stationary specs really aren’t low Powered thoug, that’s a fullyblown console.

I hope that they do this. I’d also like to see them license this to their partners (Samsung, Visio, etc) and let them integrate the XBox dashboard into their TVs.  It would be a simple thing to have the TV section show up with their Guide/access to their media etc and if you own an XBox and plug it in a Games section would just show up in the same interface.  It would make it clean and simple, and it would allow a much broader audience to get exposed to the Metro UX.

The stationary one might be the next Xbox, but doubt the tablet will only have 256MB ram.

All this hype for another gaming system so that more brains are washed free of original thought; made more pliable for manipulation by their masters?? Yeah, thought so.
