Blockbuster UK today revealed that Xbox One has broken  all previous pre-order launches in Blockbuster’s 24-year history. This comes after the announcement Microsoft made on its Xbox One next generation console last week. Blockbuster’s retailer head of games James Morton said that “We are delighted by the huge number of pre orders that we have received so far for the new Microsoft console,” . “At Blockbuster, we have a fantastic array of adrenaline-fuelled console games for sale or rental. Microsoft today announced that next generation Kinect for Windows is coming next year. The new Kinect is capable for recording 1080p videos with advanced CMOS sensors that can record color images upto 30fps. The new Xbox called Xbox One will come with 8GB RAM powered by custom designed chip manufactured by AMD. It will also come with new Xbox controller and new Kinect sensor. Microsoft has announced a new interactive music show exclusively for Xbox users. The music show is called The Music Room, that will bring you the best upcoming bands live to your Xbox. The Music Room will be a two-part program hosted by Laura Jackson featuring music from Everything Everything, Don Broco, and Swim Deep. If you have a Xbox Gold membership, you can watch the show on May 29 at 5:30 PST. Samsung Display today announced that they are showcasing a new range of display technologies that will be powering from mobile to large TVs. One interesting thing they revealed was about the next generation notebook displays. Samsung will reveal a 13.3-inch WQXGA+ (3200 x 1800) LCD for notebooks, which each can deliver 30 percent greater power-savings than that of existing LCD tablet displays, by decreasing the number of driver circuits and increasing the efficiency of the LED BLU.
