During Xbox One announcement, Microsoft made it clear that Xbox 360 games won’t be compatible with Xbox One. Since then, there were lots of speculations on how Microsoft is going to address this consumer pain point. Microsoft could either build Xbox 360 emulator support into Xbox One or provide a game streaming service like Gaikai. Last year, Microsoft said that current network speed restrictions across the world is making the cloud streaming technology “too problematic” even though they demoed an experimental technology which would be able to stream Xbox games to Windows 8 and Windows Phone handsets at its annual company meeting. In celebration of the release of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and in the spirit of heroism, Marvel and Skype partnered to make something meaningful. Skype and its employees have raised funds to give a heroic 10-year-old Ugandan orphan named Kasiita Ben the educational tools he needs. Kasiita came to Skype’s attention because of students at George Street Middle School in New Brunswick, Canada. During BUILD keynote, Joe Belfiore demoed a glimpse of the upcoming Windows Store makeover for Windows 8.1 users. The upcoming update will put focus more on Apps all the way. When you open the Windows Store, you will be welcomed with featured apps on the left along with collections, then there is Top Free, New & Rising category of apps on the right. There is now always shown navigation bar on the top with the search box as well. Also, Windows Store will now highlight price drops of the apps to the users as well.
