Bill Gates yesterday took part in the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his foundation work and more. He wanted to promote his website, GatesLetter.com, with a viral video. This viral video was aired on TV and you can watch it above. http://www.GatesLetter.com is a new URL to 2014 Gates Annual Letter which talks about 3 myths that affects growth of developing nations. 3 MYTHS THAT BLOCK PROGRESS FOR THE POOR By almost any measure, the world is better than it has ever been. Earlier this month, we ran a story titled Forrester Research: Microsoft Trumps Apple And Samsung In Consumer Mindshare in which we reported that Microsoft trumped both Samsung and Apple in the consumer mindshare survey. Here is an another report from Forrester Research, Microsoft passed Apple in a 2014 measurement of customer opinions of what it was like to deal with the company. In last year’s report, Microsoft was trailing behind Apple and now they have improved their scores to beat them. The survey attempts to quantify the somewhat squishy and hard-to-define criteria of customer experience. Forrester assigns each company a customer-experience index score based on a survey of how 7,500 U.S. consumers responded to these three questions: How enjoyable were they to do business with? How easy were they to do business with? How effective were they at meeting your needs? How was your experience with Microsoft in the past year? Did ...

A recent stealth promotional campaign to promote Microsoft Xbox by Machinima came to light few days back. As per the new promotions, Machinima video partners will get an additional $3 per thousand video views for posting videos featuring Xbox One content.   Following official Microsoft social media accounts and Xbox social media accounts, Syrian Electronic Army today gained access over official Microsoft Office blogs. This hacking comes after few hours of re-design of Office blogs by Microsoft. It now has modern, more visual appeal to it. I think its time for Microsoft to revisit their official social media account usage policy. May be changing strong passwords often with knowledge social media managers should avoid this sort of embarrassing moments. Microsoft’s Office blog ...
