Autodesk Announces SketchBook Pro 7 For Windows, Supports Pressure Sensitive Stylus Out Of The Box On Surface Pro 3

Sketchbook Pro 7 Surface Pro

Autodesk yesterday announced SketchBook Pro 7 for Windows along with a new membership offering for Autodesk SketchBook, a family of digital painting and sketching apps. SketchBook Pro 7 boasts new community-requested features including Perspective Guides with 1 point, 2 point, 3 point, and Fisheye modes; Flipbook mode with animation timeline; a new drawing engine; and workflow improvements including Distort Transform, Gradient Flood Fills, improved Selection, layer grouping, multi-layer selection, and Blending modes.

You can start using SketchBook for desktop completely free. This starter edition provides core tools to create basic drawings and enables artists to become familiar with the natural drawing experience and power of SketchBook. A paid membership of either $24.99 per year or $2.99 per month unlocks the latest SketchBook Pro 7.

As per Surface team, SketchBook runs great on the latest Surface Pro 3 and supports a fully pressure sensitive drawing/sketching experience out of the box. I’m sure Surface Pro 3 owners who are professional illustrator or concept designer will find this release increasing their productivity.

Order Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft Store today.

So all these diverse Engineering Fields and Industrial Designers that rely on AutoCAD, CivilCAD, etc., plus lots or Architecs that rely on ArchiCAD are a joke to you? Oh well, what can a say.

    • VHMP01

Oh I forgot, you metion Photoshop and lightroom? How exactly do you calculate milimeter precise measurments, or whole city infraestructures, interstate roads, airports, docks, railroads, dams, etc. with ‘Photoshop’?
