Blockbuster UK: Xbox One Pre-order Tops All Launches In Blockbuster’s 24-year History

Xbox One

Blockbuster UK today revealed that Xbox One has broken  all previous pre-order launches in Blockbuster’s 24-year history. This comes after the announcement Microsoft made on its Xbox One next generation console last week. Blockbuster’s retailer head of games James Morton said that “We are delighted by the huge number of pre orders that we have received so far for the new Microsoft console,” .

“At Blockbuster, we have a fantastic array of adrenaline-fuelled console games for sale or rental. Our expert staff know gaming and they know consoles and these pre-orders are testament to our customers’ trust in us as a leading gaming retailer.

“With Sony releasing the PS4 in the near future, the next few months are going to be an exciting time for our staff and customers at Blockbuster and we can’t wait to hear more details from both Sony and Microsoft at the E3 Expo next month.”

Do you think Microsoft can win over a huge volume of customers for its Xbox One console?

Who is pre-ordering before any concrete information? I’m a gamer first, Microsoft fan second, you can check my Disqus account and see my comments, I’m not an “isheep” or “PS fanboy” I’m a gamer first who likes using MS products and services however MS failed their unveiling of the Xbox one and hasn’t done much for core gamers (actual core gamers, and not those that play fps and sports games and consider themselves “hardcore”) considering the lack of actually exclusive games from 2009 onwards.

I reserve judgement until E3 but anyone pre-order any of these consoles now is way over their head.

There is nothing to indicate that you cannot play games with Xbox One and the other features are far more than any out there. It is not about being an iSheep and not comparable to the lack-luster re-release of same thing that Apple does. Whether details are incomplete on all the systems we have seen so far at the moment or not, Xbox One still wins over other options so far.
