Microsoft today surprised everyone by announcing that Rise of the Tomb Raider game will be exclusive to Xbox One. This game will be available next year for the holiday season. Crystal Dynamics, the developer behind the game posted the following information regarding their exclusive partnership with Microsoft, “Our friends at Microsoft have always seen huge potential in Tomb Raider and have believed in our vision since our first unveil with them on their stage at E3 2011. Last year, Microsoft revealed their limited edition white Xbox One console, Kinect and controller. Those limited edition console was not for public sale and it was limited to Microsoft’s IEB employees. Microsoft was even auctioning one of those console for the good. Last month, a French retailer Micromania listed white Xbox One on their website with the launch date in October. Microsoft today confirmed that they will be launching this white Xbox One along with the exclusive game Sunset Overdrive.
