The Xbox 360 is not going away with the introduction of the Xbox One.  In fact Microsoft expects to sell over 25 million more Xboxes in the coming years.  This means Microsoft sees the Xbox 360 as being relevant for another five years.  It is possible the price of the Xbox 360 could drop over time until the Xbox One reaches the $199 price point. A newly designed Xbox 360 is being launched today that looks similar to the Xbox one.  The redesigned 360 is slimmer, smaller and even more silent. At today’s E3 keynote presentation Microsoft announced the availability and price of the Xbox One (XB1).  The Xbox One will be launched in November for $499 in the US, 499 Euros internationally, and 429 pounds in the UK.  The XB1 will initially launch in 21 countries simultaneously.  Included in the launch package is a wireless controller, integrated Kinect module, and 14-day trial of Xbox Live.  There will also be special limited edition XB1 bundles sold around the same price. There will also be bonus content for gamers who pre-order certain launch titles including Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Dead Rising 3. Windows RT is typically thought of as a consumer device, however Microsoft is adding a number of features into Windows RT 8.1 to make it more attractive for business and enterprise customers. Among some of the enterprise enhancements for Windows RT 8.1 are simple update deployment, remote business data removal, biometrics, malware resistance, assigned access, workplace join, open MDM, RDS enhancements, VPN clients, mobile broadband, broadband tethering, and auto-triggered VPN. Microsoft today updated their Bing desktop app with many new features. Microsoft also revealed that more than 10 million people are using Bing desktop app worldwide. Here are the list of features in the update. Microsoft gave a keynote presentation in Taipei, Taiwan at Computex 2013.  In the presentation Microsoft discusses Windows 8.1 and some of the new features that are coming.  Among the notable executives in the keynote address are Antoine Leblond, corporate vice president of Windows program management, Tami Reller from Windows Business,  and Jensen Harris from the Windows User Experience Team.  The new start button is shown off in this video.  Also many new devices are shown including the Lenovo Miix 8.  Microsoft will release a public preview of Windows 8.1 later this month at the BUILD conference in San Francisco.
