Microsoft Surface Pro 3 was launched in June in the US followed by expanded availability in 25 markets last month. Microsoft today revealed that Surface Pro 3 in is short supply due to strong demand. Microsoft didn’t ship enough units to retailers in the US, and also some retailers in Australia, Surface sold out by lunchtime on launch day.  In China, retailers are sold out of the Core™ i5 and i7 models.  And devices are hard to come by in Germany, New Zealand, Korea, and at one of the largest retailers in the United Kingdom. Microsoft is working to fix this supply issue and expects normal availability of Surface Pro 3 in the coming weeks.
