Microsoft’s Surface event got over yesterday. While everyone of us were expecting Microsoft to reveal a 7-8 inch Windows RT tablet based on Qualcomm processor, Microsoft revealed Surface Pro 3 device based on Intel Core CPUs. So, What happened to much rumored Surface Mini. Yesterday, we reported that Microsoft decided to delay it for some reasons. According to Bloomberg, Microsoft was not confident that the product offered enough differentiation from the competitors to release in the market. If you saw the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 announcement, you should have realized that Microsoft has moved away from the consumer focused Surface Pro pitch. During that announcement, Microsoft revealed that lots of businesses are showing lots of interest in Surface Pro 3. There is a new report from Computerworld claiming that Microsoft won’t be unveiling the much anticipated Surface Mini device at the press event scheduled later today in the US. Since last month, we have seen various reports from Bloomberg to Neowin claiming that Microsoft will reveal a ARM based Surface Mini device that will include Stylus support. There is a new report from CNET in which an Analyst claims that Microsoft may reveal a larger Surface Pro tablet soon. We already know that Microsoft will talk about multiple Surface devices at their press event scheduled to happen next week.
