Toshiba Kirabook, one of the premium Windows Ultrabooks  that available last year got its internals refreshed today. Toshiba Kirabook already had top of the line specs including 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel HD graphics and the 13.3-inch PixelPure display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The updated Kirabook comes with latest 4th gen Intel processors delivering upto 9 hours of battery life. It also features three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI out and a full-size SD Card reader. At CES, popular Indian OEM Micromax has announced a new tablet called Canvas LapTab. The device will dual-boot Android Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1 OS. The tablet will sport a 10.1-inch 1,280 x 800 display, 2MP front and rear cameras, powered by Intel Celeron 1.46GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, 7400 mAh battery and 32GB of built-in storage. It also has Bluetooth v4.0 and expandable storage option. “The Intel-powered LapTab is the first dual-boot Windows and Android tablet. The device is aptly designed for multitasking across operating platforms and users would need to simply reboot the device and select the alternate option to switch from Windows to Android and vice versa,” Micromax said. Mozilla announced in early 2012 that they will be developing a Modern UI version of Firefox on Windows 8. After almost two years since the announcement, the product is now scheduled to be released to the general public in March 2014. Earlier it was planned to include this new modern version with the release of Firefox 27, but it is now delayed to release it with Firefox 28.
