Default zoom has been changed from 100% in windows 8, to 125% in windows 8.1. IE selects a default zoom based on the DPI and expected viewing distance of the device to optimize for consistent readability across form factors and display densities. Microsoft today opened up the new improved Windows Store in Windows 8.1. Also the Windows Store is now open for submitting apps targeting Windows 8.1 by the developers. For the developers who started working on their app with the preview versions of Windows, they will first need to update their Preview environment to today’s release versions of Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013. Packages built on prerelease versions won’t be accepted into the Store.   Microsoft today detailed the new features that are coming to Windows 8.1 Photos and Camera apps. Both these apps together allows you to go from capturing images to making edits to sharing within a matter of moments. There are two interesting new features. First is the dual capture feature which can find in modern smartphones, you can take a photo while a video is recording.
