Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment created an entirely new engine from scratch called Snowdrop. “Tom Clancy’s The Division” is powered by this new engine and it’s one of the most powerful around. Microsoft’s Xbox Wire yesterday posted the important new features in the Snowdrop engine. At this year’s E3, Microsoft’s focus was all about games, just games. For the full 90 minutes of press briefing, Microsoft talked about all the first party and 3rd party games coming to Xbox platform. The surprising part was that Microsoft didn’t even talk about games on Windows and Windows Phone platforms. The creators behind the super hit Halo series is now working on a new game called Destiny. Destiny will be releasing in September for on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
