At this year’s E3, Microsoft’s focus was all about games, just games. For the full 90 minutes of press briefing, Microsoft talked about all the first party and 3rd party games coming to Xbox platform. The surprising part was that Microsoft didn’t even talk about games on Windows and Windows Phone platforms. Phil Spencer is the head of gaming at Microsoft, which includes games on Xbox, Windows and Windows Phone platforms. He responded to the lack of any information on PC and mobile gaming at E3 to Polygon, “I’m head of gaming at Microsoft,” Spencer said. “When we’re doing gaming strategy, gaming focus inside the company, that’s my job. Microsoft announced Cortana digital assistant with the launch of Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview. Lots of users are already using it in beta form around the world even though Microsoft has officially restricted the launch to the US. How about Cortana experience on Windows or Xbox? Microsoft has not revealed any info about it so far, but it is as obvious thing for Microsoft to expand this personalized service to all their platforms. Microsoft’s Xbox chief Phil Spencer spoke to Engadget at E3 2014 discussing Microsoft’s focus on games at E3, virtual reality platform, bringing legacy Xbox 360 games to Xbox One and more. I’m watching what’s going on out there; I don’t really think it’s a mainstream technology yet today. The creators behind the super hit Halo series is now working on a new game called Destiny. Destiny will be releasing in September for on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Bungie is planning to release a beta of this game in the coming weeks and you can get access to the beta by pre-ordering the game from Amazon. Ubisoft today announced their next gen fitness game for Xbox One. Read the details below.
