Check Out This Awesome Bing Homepage Featuring DeepZoom Imagery

Microsoft Bing is always known for its beautiful homepage images. Microsoft keeps on tweaking the Bing homepage to make it look and function better. Last year Microsoft introduced the video homepages which got a warm welcome among users. Now, Microsoft is placing DeepZoom images on its homepages, you can pan around the image using the controls palced below and you can even zoom into the pictures. Bing Australia got once such image today and you can check it out here.

    Is there a way to restrict bing searches to a specific time frame like google has? I really want to use Bing, but can’t figure that out and I use that a lot on Google.

      Yeah, if it’s what I think your asking, just look for a drop menu at the top where you can filter the time of the search. Hope that helps. :)

      After a second or two, do you see the image automatically panning? If not, click refresh as you are probably being presented the static version.

    Wouldn’t work for me in IE9 so I went to Chrome and it worked fine.

    Beautiful !!!! I’m running it on IE10 on my Win8 RTM… really stunning… I hope most of the new images will have this same panoramic & zooming feature
