Still expect WP7 to quickly die out.When WP7 camne out WM6 was supposed to be the cheaper version but that never happened.

Not really…Many budget phones are still going to be released with WP7 on them. However don’t expect the integration as that uses APIs that are new to WP8 and I’d be shocked if they ever got backported so you’ll have to make do with the standard app.

There is nothing MS can do about that. Users in UAE can however access it via VPN. Ask your ISP, they sell VPN services in those regions.
