The extra $100 for the SP2 is worth it for the Wacom digitizer alone… The V11P uses the same stylus as the V8P (which I own) and it’s the only thing I don’t like about it.

This for me is the ideal business machine. It can be a tablet, laptop, and can drive 2 external monitors via the desktop dock. No more of this data or that application was on the other computer. The only thing it is missing is cellular connectivity. Dell should also release a 14-15″ version of this with Full HD or 4K options for those that want to have a higher resolution, but This is the route I think a lot of businesses will go. One device that does it all…

I need to replace my aging laptop.. gets too hot and no battery life. I was considering the Venue 11 Pro, but I think I want a bigger product like a 15″. I just got the Venue 8 Pro and I love it, but I want a more powerful device.. I would like the option to game respectably too.. might have to wait for another round of Intel chips..

It also has nowhere near the build quality, no kickstand, no Wacom pen, etc.
Having said that, I would like to see Microsoft offer the Surface Pro 3 $100 cheaper than the Surface Pro 2 at all models.

Dell Venue Pro 11 doesn’t need a kick stand since it offers two options
for keyboards — Mobile (with battery for an extra 5 hours) and slim
that acts as a stand for the tablet. It has a removable battery which Microsoft Surface doesn’t have.
