Does Dell have an active pen support option?

    • skruis

I was chatting with a Dell rep today before I placed my order and according to them, it IS an active stylus with palm block meaning that it disables the capacitive functions when it detects the pen…here’s the quote from the session:

Agent (Maria W): “the Pen can work with the same capacitive sensor stack used for touch screens. it has a palm rejection for natural, and comfortable use,. An internal transmitter lets your tablet know when the stylus is in use, preventing accidental actions if your palm or wrist rests on your tablet while you write. This allows you to write on your tablet naturally, just as you would on a pad of paper.”

It’s not exactly as simple as a “yes, it has palm block” but it’s looking good.

Yes, it support an active stylus. And it supports wireless display via Miracast. I know what I like and I like what I see.
