Last November, Microsoft announced that they will be releasing Service Pack 1 (SP1) for the 2013 set of products including Office, SharePoint and Exchange, SP1 will deliver performance enhancements, feature updates and improve compatibility with Windows 8.1. As expected, Microsoft today released Service Pack 1 for Office 2013 customers. Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013 64-Bit and 32-Bit Editions contains new updates which improve security, performance, and stability.  Additionally, the SP is a roll-up of all previously released updates.

    Microsoft should also release new features in these updates, so Office will remain more competitive, I’d gladly pay over € 100,- for a superior product. :-D

      That approach works for consumers like you. But enterprise won’t be happy to see feature updates in each new service pack.

      As Office 365 is constantly updated, I wouldn’t think so. But guess I will find out when I get to the office.
