These are the photos from Microsoft’s press event at Computex held in Taiwan. Microsoft and its OEM partners are working on bringing 7inch – 10inch Windows tablets to market later this year. Microsoft on its part to boost sales of smaller tablets announced that they will be shipping free Microsoft Office Home and Student edition for free with all small Windows 8 devices. There were also reports that Microsoft has cut Windows licensing price for OEMs to in order to reduce the end device price at retail. Acer has already revealed their W3 8-inch Windows 8 tablet and it seems Lenovo is also planning for such a device.

I just bought this tablet. pretty sweet actually. I went through several android tablets and i never ended up keeping any of them. This however looks like a keeper. Price is good. If only Lenovo offered some reasonably priced Bluetooth keyboard with it. !
