Google Responds To Microsoft’s Scroogled Merchandise Campaign

Scroogled Models

A day before, Microsoft launched a new section in its online Microsoft Store to sell Scroogled branded merchandise. Microsoft launched Scroogled campaign against Google to make sure consumers aware of the fact that Google is selling your data to advertisers. Google responded to the latest Scroogled merchandise with the following response,

“Microsoft’s latest venture comes as no surprise; competition in the wearables space really is heating up,”

Even though some might find the above statement from Google as funny, I don’t. Google is yet to launch the Google Glass product to the general public and they themselves consider them as a competition in the wearables space. Even Microsoft is planning a smart watch and Google Glass like Augmented reality glass. Both are expected in 2015 with public details in 2014.

You can find the details about the merchandise here.
