Halo: Spartan Assault Coming To Xbox One On Dec 24th, Buy Now On Windows Devices To Get Discount


Microsoft today confirmed that Halo: Spartan Assault is coming to Xbox One on Dec 24th. Halo: Spartan Assault was originally released on Windows 8 devices and Windows Phone 8 earlier this year and it was well received by consumers. Microsoft is now brining the experience to Xbox One users with native 1080p resolution and smooth 60 fps frame rate, it will also feature a brand-new cooperative mode, new weapons, and the inclusion of the “Operation Hydra” add-on. It will be available on Xbox One via a digital download priced at $14.99.

Best of all, fans that have purchased “Halo: Spartan Assault” for Windows 8 devices or Windows Phone 8 to date or purchase prior to December 15, 2013, will be eligible to purchase the Xbox One version of the game at the discounted price of $4.99. And don’t worry, Xbox 360 owners: “Halo: Spartan Assault” will be available on your console in January 2014.

    That is awesome news! I have it for my Surface RT. I really enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t have paid $15 just to play it again on Xbox One. However, for $5 I will, especially if my friends do too and I can enjoy the new co-op mode.

    Finally, it’s an Xbox LIVE Game, it’s weird it hasn’t been there earlier, and please Microsoft keep this exclusive to yourself, if you’ll release this for Nintendo, Sony, Android, iO.S. and O.S. X you’ll lose Joint-Platform’s power.
