HP today announced two business focused laptops running Windows 8.1. The two new devices are EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 and EliteBook Revolve G2. EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 comes with machined aluminum body, 14-inch display that weighs 3.3 pounds 15.9mm thinner. It is powered by Intel 4th gen processor and offers upto 10 hours battery life. You can choose between 1,600 x 900 or 1,920 x 1,080 display with an optional touchscreen option. It comes with Synaptics’ ForcePad trackpad technology, military’s MIL-STD 810G specifications support, Intel vPro processors, fingerprint sensor and a Smart Card reader. It is already on sale with starting price of $1,299.
Another new business Ultrabook convertiable announced is the new Revolve G2. The design is a traditional convertible with a touchscreen that can converted into tablet mode. All expected improvements like latest Intel processor, support for LTE and improved stylus are present. It will go on sale starting $1,364 later this month.
