Lenovo Officially Announces ThinkPad 10 Windows Tablet With Full HD Display, Digitizer Pen Support And More

We reported about ThinkPad 10 tablet last week, Lenovo has made if official today. ThinkPad 10 is constructed from premium aluminium, and it comes with a full HD display protected by Gorilla glass. ThinkPad 10 comes with a digitizer pen for natural writing input, up to 4GB of memory and up to 128GB of storage. It runs on Windows 8.1 including 64-bit support. Users can also have options including 3G/4G LTE. Lenovo claims that it can offer up to ten hours of battery life. It also features a 8MP camera on the back.

It comes with range of accessories which users can buy according to their needs,

Users can be creative with four flexible modes – Tablet, Stand, Laptop and Desktop. When connected to the optional ThinkPad Tablet Dock or USB3.0 docking station, users can add an external display, mouse, and either the Compact Bluetooth keyboard or directly attach the ThinkPad 10 Ultrabook full sized keyboard, making the transition from a highly mobile tablet to a resourceful office environment seamless. The Quickshot Cover makes photo taking a breeze. Whether for personal or business use, a quick flip of the cover protecting the eight megapixel camera launches the app automatically, ready for that dramatic landscape or the insurance assessment.

IT managers will also appreciate VPN access control, application deployment management and can prevent users from installing prohibited apps. In addition, Lenovo Services offer a complete suite of packages, including sealed battery warranties, accidental damage protection and laser etching and tagging.

The ThinkPad 10 pricing starts at $599 and will be available starting in June on www.lenovo.com and at selected retailers.

    They still haven’t released Thinkpad 8 with LTE.

    I’m sure there will be no LTE version for years or any accessories like with Thinkpad 8. one big disaster.

    I guess they did this paper release, because the new surface announcement is on the horizon May 20th. We will see how that goes.
