Lenovo Pocket Yoga–the Lenovo concept which did not make it to market

Lenovo has posted a picture on their Facebook page of what they call the Pocket Yoga, a mini version of the IdeaPad Yoga tablet with its full-flip screen.

The device features two full-sized USB ports, so presumably run a full desktop OS.

Lenovo asks if we would have bought it if they did actually release it. What do our readers think? Let us know below.

Would need awful big pockets. And what’s that aspect ratio; 32×9?

If it was a smartphone, I would, but since I don’t know the specs for this, are we supposed to call it a laptop or ultrabook?,I can safely say that I would not want to run windows RT on that small screen.

What exactly, would you need something like this for? “I need a Lenovo Pocket Yoga because I _______.”
I cannot think of any reason to buy something like this.

If this was something like the Nokia E90 I will buy it.

  • grs_dev

this concept failed back in the 1990s why would it succeed today?

If they make the form factor more like the venerable Psion 5MX then there would be a real market for it.

    Too Long & Too Thick!

Both parts need to be Much slimmer; with either the screen or the keyboard being the width of the Touch Cover. And the screen would need to be More Squarish, rather than just elongated.

    Back to 80’s ?? It’s like a Psion
