    back-lit keys is a must have feature if you are going to use it for a HTPC.

      Why? Against: battery and cost.

        backlit keyboard in almost total darkness is pretty good.
        about battery life? use rechargeable batteries
        about cost? not that much more would be roughly $20 to $30 more.
        is it worth it? yes

      has to be minimal to no backlit bleed though.
      I was thinking to get one like this…..but waiting for something to come out with backlit support.
