Microsoft Announces Windows 8 Pro Upgrade For $39.99

Microsoft today announced that Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 users can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just $39.99.  And you can add Windows Media Center for free through the “add features” option within Windows 8 Pro after your upgrade. This is a great deal! You can purchase the upgrade from Windows.com and use the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant to make sure whether your PC is ready for Windows 8. A packaged DVD version of the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro will be available for $69.99 at all local stores during this promotion which ends on January 31st, 2013.
