Microsoft Chairman John Thompson: Satya Is Still Defining And Tuning Microsoft’s Ultimate Strategy

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal in Istanbul, Microsoft Chairman John Thompson spoke about the new CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella and the company’s progress in the recent days. He said, “Satya is still defining and tuning what he wants the ultimate strategy of the company to be, and over the course of the next three to six months, that will clearly become more visible to the marketplace at large.”

I wish Satya good luck! Hope he drives a focused and strong Microsoft back to its leading position where it once was while keeping the company innovative and adaptive and receptive. Would love to see Windows phone at the leading end of the market and Skype to be more than a competitor to services like BBM & WhatsApp, Nokia handset division churning out the trendsetting hardware and Surface to show its true power and find it’s true position in its segment! Too much to ask for!? ;)
