Microsoft revealed that a new Office subscription offering, Office 365 Personal back in March. It is available for purchase–$69.99 USD/year or $6.99 USD/month (ERP). Office 365 Personal enables you to install the latest full desktop version of Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook, on 1 PC or Mac, in addition to 1 Windows tablet or iPad — so you can use all the features offline as well as online. You can also install Office on multiple smartphones.   Office 365 Home enables you to install the latest full desktop version of Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook, on up to 5 PCs or Macs, in addition to 5 Windows tablets or iPads—so you can use all the features offline as well as online. You can also install Office on multiple smartphones for easy access.

      They do but I’m sure we’re coming down to one of the last versions.

    The “Personal” version is way too expensive considering what you lose.

    It is surprising Microsoft did not adjust the price accordingly. You really get 1/5 the offer for 2/3 the price.

    At $39 / year, the offer would have been much more attractive.

    Still Free on Onedrive.com. So, for most home users, that’s a win. Anyone working for a company that has Office can usually get a copy for free If on Office365 or for $10 if they have an agreement.

    The subscription should be cheaper and and remove option for purchasing outright. I hate when people hold onto software forever. It’s free online people… THROW AWAY your office 2007 Cd already. :)
