Microsoft finally conquers the Aussie accent, to offer Xbox 360 voice control in Australia


It has been a long time coming, but it seems Microsoft will soon offer voice control for the Xbox 360 in Australia, if this invitation being sent out the the media there is anything to go by..

Microsoft Australia invites you to experience entertainment.

Join us as we share Microsoft’s vision for entertainment featuring natural user interfaces and the first eve Australian media preview of voice control on Kinect for xbox 360.

Guests can get hands on with Microsoft’s entertainment products, including soon to be released Xbox 360 games and applications across television, pc and phones.

At the event guests will receive a gift enabling them to experience the promise of voice control.

Microsoft had earlier said they would enable this service by the end of the year, and appears to be delivering right on time, just before the lucrative holiday season.

    hopefully this works on windows phone too, coz ive been having trouble getting tellme to understand what im saying, it usually comes up with something that rhymes or nothing at all, hope that changes
