At various points in the past, we had hints about Windows 8 availability in late 2012. Now according to Microsoft’s Janelle Poole, director of public relations of the Windows Business Group, Windows 8 may come in October 2012 timeframe. Discussing with Pocket-lint about Windows 8,
“One of the things that I think is a good guideline though is we’ve always said that Windows releases come round about every three years and this year will be three years in October since we launched Windows 7. So I think that’s a good guideline to consider.”
This may become true since various Microsoft partners like Acer hinted about Windows 8 launch later this year at CES this week.
