Is it completely free or is it part of the Office 365 subscription?

    • Jimy Hinders

Free to download app and to read/present.
You need a subscription to create/edit.

The Surface though provides it fully free to do anything you want. :)

      • Duel

Yes this is what you get “Since Office isn’t touch-optimized, you’ll still want a mouse and keyboard to really get work done on the Surface 2. And when you have a mouse and keyboard, why do you have a tablet?”

      • neva

“Sign in with a free Microsoft account to create, edit and save documents
for home use. A qualifying Office 365 subscription is required to
create, edit and save documents for business use.”
This means you can create/edit documents for free. You just need to pay for the cloud stuff…
BTW, I’m getting extremely tired of Microsoft. Not even they seem to be routing for themselves anymore. I’m very close to ditch my Windows Phone…

I hope that the Windows Phone and Windows Store versions will look this good. :-

Why does Microsoft thingk that we don’t need to print? Words or Excel for the iPad without the ability to print your work from it is utterly and completely useless! Why Microsoft, why? First it took you years, and then you give us a half baked product. I guess, I’ll stick with Pages and Numbers!
