Microsoft Store Goes Metro

Microsoft has recently updated their Online store with Metro design. Microsoft Online store (microsoftstore.com) lets you buy Microsoft hardware and software online. Microsoft is also testing a Metro Design version of its home page microsoft.com. You can try that here.

    the previous design was a better website layout. I am all about a unified User Interface look and feel for MS properties (but I think they could have done with just using some more inconography from Windows Phone’s metro). Metro is about clean, simple aesthetics (that is also functional and provides dynamic information when necessary) and the new website is horrifingly “busy” and much harder to navigate

    sorry to double comment. but go to the new pc configuration page where you can select which brands, features, prices to narrow down the selection of laptops. they are using old, ugly scroll bar boxes. those should be killed from all computers and deff. do not need to be on a website!
