This will be quite an achievement, considering I still can’t control the X One with gestures from 10 feet away.

Did you remember to calibrate it or are you just trollin?

I am probably one of the biggest MS fans out there, legit. I calibrate all the time, gestures are terrible on XOne, terrible. Slight improvement with recent update, but still terrible. Love the voice control though, and love the media integration and instant switching. I bet the gestures will work much better when applied to a game than controlling the interface.

I wouldn’t say it terrible but your right it could be better.

Have you run through the tutorials that are under the Kinect tab in settings? It took me a while to get used to them, as they are different than the 360, but now that I am used to them, I find myself trying to push in and pull back (the select) when I used my old 360.

And remember you have to push in towards your Kinect. Now that I am used to them, I find them better than the 360’s. I just wish they had reversed ‘Xbox Select’ – to see the options and just plain old “Xbox” when speaking.

Also, try the preseason of Kinect Sports Rivals, it’s only the wave raking one, but it’s pretty fun and the controls follow your hand being open or closed, pretty well.
