We have seen multiple reports in the past that Microsoft is working on optimizing Windows RT/8 for small screen devices with upcoming Blue update. Microsoft confirmed it today at Microsoft’s quarterly conference call with investors. Current CFO Peter Klein announced that Microsoft is working with PC OEMs to develop smaller Windows 8 touchscreens devices. And these devices are expected to be launched in the near future.

Are you ready for 7-8inch Windows based e-reader/media consumption device? I think Microsoft badly need those category of devices to compete with Apple iPad Mini and other products.

Microsoft is always late and then it ask why is the market saturated? Microsoft has to do faster than what it is doing now. btw, I love my surface RT. I am spending more time on it than any other computer in my house.

This is the right way to go and fight the market ! Microsoft is already late as even Apple has launched a smaller tablet..

Microsoft can come out a winner if they just release products FAST and make them available FAST to the whole world..
The product launching cycle is way to slow and long.. that is why they are not able to increase the sales of people like me who want to buy but can’t coz it is not launched in our places !!
    I mean COME on Microsft..
