New Bing Home Page Now Adds Full Screen Option

Microsoft Bing added a little new feature to its homepage. The new home page feature is a full screen button which when clicked will make your Bing home page take full screen and look clean. As you can see in the image above, the full screen mode along with video background makes the page look absolutely gorgeous.

Check it out here.

That is nice. But, did you mean video or picture?

Kinda pointless, perhaps they should have added hotspots for when you
hover over the area where the menus should be with CSS3 transitions or
    jQuery toggling the menus appearance.

It doesn’t change the size of the image for me, just drops the links that surround the image so it looks more like the Win8 app.
I don’t know what size it starts adding gray bars at, but, 20″+ will not see “full screen”. It still looks great, it’s just not full.

Yeah, only way it “fullscreens” is if you zoom-in. But I really love the current video on In fact I loved it so much I have it running on look on one of my monitors.

It´s not ful screen. Itßs only full browser.
No browser has ideo of rel full Screen. Or usage of full screen of second Monitor.
It´s only a browse rnot a real Programm

I don’t even get full browser. When I put IE in non-windowed mode and hit the “fullscreen” button on the Bing page all it does is make the items across the bottom (e.g., “recently viewed”, etc.) disappear and I see the image of the day with an ugly boarder around it.

Hit F11 to take the bowser into what is call kisok mode (full screen) which has been avaialble for years, then hit the icon to make the rest fade away all the new eage stuff that now shows whether you are in kiosk mode or not.
