At the Nokia Lumia 620 launch event in Pakistan Nokia showed the above image demonstrating the breadth of the Windows 8/Windows Phone 8 ecosystem.

This included a tablet which does not appear to look like any we have seen before, but shares the distinctive colourful and rounded styling of Nokia’s Lumia handsets.

NokiaGadgets, who first posted about the tablet, notes it has a thin bezel, colourful casing and rounded sides.

Nokia is rumoured to have a Windows tablet in the works, though it has also been rumoured that this project has been cancelled while Nokia focuses on their Lumia handsets.

Do our readers think an eventual Nokia tablet will look like this? Let us know below.

Thanks FocusFlash for the tip.

For me it looks like a bad Photoshop work. Just look at how bad they placed the tiles, I mean, they should be smaller.

Slightly concerning that nokia’s marketing people don’t seem to understand how win 8 works.

Look at the cut off tiles on the desktop. I wouldn’t read anymore into it than a marketing guy with PhotoShop and lack of real demo units to use. If it were a real Nokia tablet it would be scaled correctly.

If it is a Nokia ITS A low cost version since the lumia 920 has pretty squarevcorners, whereas 820 and remaining lower cost models are rounded.
if it was a Nokia demo i would guess Nokia music drive or similar tiles were there so no, i do not think its on yet ;-)
