I think one of the better strategies MS should have employed to get more vendors making RT tablets would’ve been to offer the OS for free and then charge for Office. That would have really had the attention of all the OEMs making rubbish Android tablets.

Agree. People expect to pay for Office… but OSes (now) are generally free. People will pay a premium for MS Office because it is the best and also the industry standard.

Although, I do see some merit in offering Office for free on Windows devices and charging for iOS and Android devices.

Beware! 32Gb in Windows 8 or RT tablets is the equivalent of 8Gb for an Android tablet. Sure, Windows is far more powerful than Android, but in terms of storage it sucks totally

64Gb is the very minimum you have to buy for an 8/RT tablet. Don’t get fooled by the trolls who claim it’s enough. It’s isn’t. Don’t buy their B.S.

Given that most Win8 Tablets come in both 32Gb & 64GB flavours (the equivalent of a full 8/32GB on other platforms) I don’t see why you are complaining.

Pay more and get the size you want.

I am simply stating what I firmly believe is the case about 32Gb tablets. If you think that’s complaining, that’s your choice, it does not make it true. But even if I was actually complaining, it’s my choice to do so if I want

On the other hand, I did not deny the existence of 64 Gb versions of some tablets, so I am not sure what you are talking about

If you don’t like my post, you don’t have to read it. Look the other way, or do something else, if you want.

Which is it? It says HP 5620 on sale for $279, then it says HP 5600US on sale at Amazon
