I was excited for the adapter at first because I wanted to use it with my Turtle Beach headset. However, the headset is 5.1 surround. I know XB1 does not yet support Dolby, but will eventually. This adapter is clearly labeled STEREO adapter, does this mean that once Dolby support is added an additional adapter will go on sale?
Nervous to pre-order without this being clear.

Sadly, my understanding is that Dolby support is not currently in the roadmap at least in the short term. PS4 does have the Xbox One beat in this aspect.

I looked into the compatibility FAQ at the Microsoft store link and quickly found that my TB X41′s are not going to be compatible with this adapter due to the 2.5mm jack they use for voice.

U can use the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter that comes with the soon to be released stereo chat adapter. Most of Turtle Beach headsets use 2.5mm chat connection, they thought of this and included said adapter.
