Skype Social Media Accounts Hacked By Syrian Electronic Army

6

A group that calls itself the Syrian Electronic Army has gained access to the Skype social media accounts and is posting messages asking Skype to “stop spying on people.”  The Skype twitter account has over 3 million followers.  The group has also compromised the Skype blog.

Well they should really stop spying on people.
Not sure if hacking the blog is the right way to achieve that though.
The only one who can stop it is the government.

What makes you think this idiotic hacking group is right. There’s no evidence that Skype is spying on people, not in any negative way, and there is no evidence whatsoever that they’re selling data to the government. That’s stupid. Meanwhile, Google sells your personal data every single day to advertisers. I don’t see them whining about that, and what the hell does Outlook at Hotmail have to do with.

      • Herb_Eaversmells

This is a misconception. Google does not SELL your data, they use your data to target personalised ads to you, however that data is not being sold to any 3rd parties.

        • antygogle

nonsense you write, google sells all the user information dealing with companies to promote, after that google steals to users files. each file is owned by gogle, not user uploade them! Sell your data is the only form of income for the gogle.

          • Herb_Eaversmells

It’s not nonsense, though I wouldn’t expect you to be objective.

This doesn’t make me respect them in any way (–_–)
