Sony VAIO 11A Flip PC Goes On Sale For $799 In The US

At CES, Sony announced another convertible in the Vaio Flip series. Vaio flip series is now available in 13-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch models. The new Vaio Flip 11 is a 11-inch convertible which will have the same innovative hinge design that will allow your device to convert from traditional laptop to tablet. It also has N-trig digitizer allowing for pressure-sensitive pen input. It weighs 2.82 pounds. It will come with 1080p display as a standard and you can choose between CPUs starting from Intel quad-core Bay Trail (Pentium) CPU to Intel Core i7 CPU.

The Intel quad-core Bay Trail (Pentium) CPU model is now on sale for $799 in the US.

    Aren’t all Bay Trail processors Atom-based? Didn’t know there are also Bay Trail Pentiums. I have a desk-top computer here in the house (assembled it myself) that uses a dual-core Pentium (Sandy Bridge architecture) – it’s quite good actually and cheap too, way cheaper than the i3 Sandy Bridge.

    Why this processor ? I think if they wanted to go for somethinggood put still keep a low price go for an AMD A6 or even an A8…..but NOT THIS…..
