Stand in line for a Surface and get $100 of Xbox Music free


Microsoft has announced that the first 100 people who buy a Microsoft Surface tablet at a Microsoft Store will receive a year’s Xbox Music Pass, worth $99.90.

The offer is only open to in-store buyers so online buyers should not apply.

Microsoft’s new Xbox Music service provide free ad-supported streaming music on Windows 8 tablets and PCs, and also unlimited streaming without ads with a $14.99 subscription on Windows 8 PCs and tablets, Windows Phone 8 handsets and Xbox 360 consoles (with a Xbox Live Gold membership).

    Those of us who pre-ordered should get our keyboards for free for being early, early buyer supporting the Surface. Come on MS!

      Agreed, those who pre order within the first 48hrs online should have been given a choice of keyboard color or at the most free keyboard. I don’t think this would have irritated other OEM’s.

    that kind of sucks, early preorders get nothing…….sigh. Here is to hoping we get some kind of cool extra for preorders….but not likely.
