Surface Available For Sale In 7 New Markets

10

The Surface team has been busy over the last three months in establishing the right infrastructure for getting their tablets to more business customers in more places.  Given the increase in demand for Surface tablets, starting October 1st 2013, Surface will be in seven new markets – Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. The team also announced that the Surface will be available through commercial resellers in all 29 markets where the Surface is sold.  The Surface Blog reports:

Our expanded reseller network, brings a variety of additional value-added services to the Surface family, such as asset tagging, custom imaging, knitting, onsite service and support, device recycling and data protection. We already knew that people who use Surface love it. But, perhaps more importantly, business users who use Surface particularly love the ability to buy through the resellers that they’re already working with for their hardware purchases and ongoing support.

When I was on the Philippines the resailer at the Acer store had to get their only Windows Tablet-P.C. ”all the wayt from tyhe back” and it took more than 15 minutes to find it in a major S.M.’s Acer shop, if you’d asked for a Microsoft Surface every-body said”, ”oh yuou mean iPad”, which is probably their nick-name for the Surface.

Thankfully Lenovo reported that they outsold all their Windows 8 devices like hot breads at a bakery.

That’s odd. I’m pretty sure surface and surface pro already sell in Malaysia & Singapore since more than 3 months ago.

Really MS, now also no India in the list ?
This is getting too odd for me, I have been holding on my buying decision for so long now..
But now the patience is wearing thin. :(

It seems Microsoft is having allergy from India. In-fact I too was hoping this time. Microsoft forget that they have good number base in India and big time follower too. If Microsoft will ignore for long they can loose market for sure as customer like us forced to buy other products.

I don’t understand this piece of news. The surface has been available officially from Microsoft in Thailand since July 2013
