Microsoft today released an updated version of the Kinect for Windows SDK 2.0 public preview which includes more than 200 improvements to the core SDK. It also includes Kinect Fusion tool kit, which provides higher resolution camera tracking and performance. The Kinect for Windows v2 sensor gives developers more of the precision, responsiveness, and intuitive capabilities they need to develop interactive voice and gesture-based applications. Autohosted Apps was a preview program to determine how best to provide a seamless deployment experience for creating apps for SharePoint.
