According to the folks at the My Digital Life forum Microsoft will be handing out Build 81xx of Windows 8 to developers at BUILD in Anaheim tomorrow. Unlike previously however it is also believed this software will also be made more widely available, with the official BuildWindows8 account tweeting: “… getting the pre-release bits …. will be easy and not a secret” Hopefully what will be released will also be pretty fully featured, to give us a clear idea of what to expect when the OS is released towards the end of next year. The excitement is building for Microsoft’s BUILD conference running from the 13th to 16th September at Anaheim.  At the Windows event we mainly expect to see most of the features, functionality and user interface of Windows 8 being released.  Here is what we expect to see. We expect to see the Windows 8’s Immersive UI’s developer paradigm being revealed, and at present all bets is on HTML5, with Microsoft saying all the way in June ““On day one, when Windows 8 ships, hundreds of millions of developers will already know how to develop for it.” We fully expect Microsoft’s Windows 8 app store to be revealed. Internet Explorer 10 should be another shoe-in, with the browser likely being the backbone for the whole “immersive” user interface. Samsung’s Series 7 tablet announced recently Microsoft is expected to lift the shroud around Windows 8 fully next week at its BUILD conference, and there are strong rumours of a developer beta of the OS being released. However with Windows 8 also being a touch-centric tablet OS a software beta would be useless without some hardware to run it on.  According to Korea Economic Daily, citing an industry source,  Microsoft will be handing out a Samsung-produced tablet running Windows 8 at conference. According to the source "This new product manufactured by Samsung will be the company’s first collaboration with Microsoft in its hardware devices.” Samsung announced its Series 7 Windows 7 tablet at IFA last week, and its rumoured Windows 8 tablet may have the same form factor.
