During the 2014 Rooster Teeth Expo, 343 Industries shared some new info on the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection. They revealed the new content for the Halo 2: Anniversary portion and a new trailer. In the panel organized there, Halo developers showed off the first of the six remade maps for Halo 2 Anniversary – Coagulation. They also revealed some of the new modes include: SWAT: The popular no-shields, no-motion-tracker mode had been expanded in Halo 3, and Halo 2 gets an upgrade. Ricochet: One of the newest modes from Halo 4, where players have to get a ball into the enemy’s goal. Think Halo basketball. 343 Industries and Certain Affinity yesterday discussed about the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection in a panel at RTX. During that, they released a this new ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection Terminal’ Trailer. This new trailer shows the game featuring The Arbiter, voiced by actor Keith David. The Halo journey begins in 2014 by remembering and celebrating our past. This holiday, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will launch on Xbox One, marking the first time the entire Master Chief story will be playable on a single console. Included with Halo: The Master Chief Collection is Halo: Nightfall an original live-action digital series that introduces a pivotal new character in Halo 5: Guardians. Engadget today reported that Microsoft is working on bringing ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ for Xbox One which will be released later this year. This Halo collection is expected to include Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 and are being collected in a Master Chief-focused HD remaster coming from Microsoft. Engadget also reports that Halo: Reach and Halo 3: ODST  won’t be part of this collection. Our sources say that the set will zero in on Halo‘s most famous soldier to refresh audience’s memories ahead of Halo 5: Guardians‘ release, so curiosities like Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach likely won’t be a part of the package.
