At CES earlier this year, Sony announced the new Vaio Flip 11 which is a 11-inch convertible and will have the same innovative hinge design that will allow your device to convert from traditional laptop to tablet. It also has N-trig digitizer allowing for pressure-sensitive pen input. It weighs 2.82 pounds. Sony is now recalling these Vaio Fit 11A and has asked customers to stop using it as soon as possible. Sony revealed that there is a risk that batteries on these new Vaio devices overheating and catching fire. Sony has revealed that it has sold a total of 25,905 Vaio products world-wide since it kicked off sales in February, including 497 in the U.S., 7,158 in Europe, 2,088 in China and 3,619 in Japan.   Sony has published the above teaser on its YouTube account recently. As you can see, Sony is planning to reveal a Lenovo Yoga style Ultrabook hybrid. The device can act as a laptop, tablet when folded all together, and also as a viewer. Lenovo is yet to update its successful Yoga lineup with Intel’s latest Hasewell processor. If Sony reveals a product that is as good as Yoga both in terms of quality and value, they may have a winner in their hands. Sony is set to reveal this new device at IFA 2013 next week. The hybrid is less than 0.8 inches thick and weighs only 3.2 pounds. It has a vivid 12.5-inch diagonal HD touchscreen display with IPS technology provides with Corning® Gorilla® Glass to resists scratches. The device is equipped with up to a 256GB solid state drive and a 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor with Intel Rapid Start technology. One of their devices is the Sony Vaio Duo 11, a device with does not skimp on specs, but probably pays for it in weight and price. Unlike many devices shown so far, it has a 11.6 inch Full HD screen, 128 GB SSD, Core i5 or i7 processor, weighs 1.3 Kg and is 17.85 mm thick. It supports up to 8 GB of RAM. The device also comes with a pressure-sensitive pen, full sized VGA and HDMI ports, twin USB 3 ports and a SD card reader.  In addition it has Bluetooth 4, GPS, a digital compass and Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
