Microsoft has announced that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is now part of the jury team for the Imagine Cup student competition finals. Along with Satya, Reddit GB Erik, and Code.org founder Hadi will be their three VIP judges who will welcome Imagine Cup students from around the world on their visit to Seattle. Microsoft has partnered with University of Washington, where the students will be staying in the school’s latest high-tech living spaces during World Finals 2014. Microsoft’s new CEO, Satya Nadella, will be at World Finals to judge the best student projects. Satya was just 25 years old when he first joined Microsoft, two years after completing his Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and he’s now risen all the way to CEO. Microsoft today announced that one finalist team in its Imagine Cup global student technology competition will be chosen for a private meeting with Bill Gates. This will allow the winning team of students to interact with Microsoft co-founder and Bill & Melinda Gates foundation chairman in person to share their dreams and excitement for a brighter future. Imagine cup is scheduled to happen in Redmond, Wash., from July 29 – Aug. 1.
