And expected, more than 70% of the survey respondents found IT, communication, telecom and ITeS industry to be the most attractive sector to work. Microsoft had its first Windows Azure conference in India for the past two days. During the conference, Microsoft shared many details about the Windows Azure business in India and their momentum. Yesterday, we reported that Microsoft Windows had 2.1% of the worldwide tablet market with a total of 4 million units sold in 2013 according to Gartner. Microsoft is already working towards driving more sales volume. One such strategy is to produce low cost and high value devices. At MWC, Microsoft announced that they are reducing the hardware requirements of Windows for tablets in an effort to reduce the price of Windows tablets.
